
Building The Foundations for the Success of the John Holland Energy Business


In April 2023, John Holland launched a new energy and renewables business in Australia, targeting the growing pipeline of renewable energy projects. With the Australian government setting a target of a 43 percent reduction in emissions by 2030, the need for investment in energy is more significant than ever before. The goal of the business is to capture the emerging and rapidly-growing renewable energy market in Australia; with Australia's investment in energy infrastructure set to reach AUD $80 billion over the next 15 years. The newly-formed business has now assembled an A team and developed an internal (‘inside-out’) view of its strategy to grow the business.
