Streamlining Drought Management Reporting For LLS Using GenAI

Challenge

Local Land Services (LLS), responsible for supporting sustainable land management across 11 regions in NSW, sought to explore how Generative AI (GenAI) could enhance their monthly reporting process to the CEO on drought management activities. The existing process was time-consuming, involving manual synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data from various regional reports. The challenge was to identify how GenAI could streamline and automate this process, improving efficiency and accuracy.​

Approach

Developing a Proof of Concept (PoC) for AI-Driven Reporting​​

The Strategy Group partnered with LLS to design and deliver a Proof of Concept (PoC) leveraging OpenAI's data analytics capabilities. The focus was on simplifying and accelerating the reporting process using a sample of various drought management reports.​
